Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 x 400 gm tin of chick peas, rinse before use
- ¼ cup of tahini
- 2 x cloves of garlic
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Salt - use sea salt if possible
Method
- Put all ingredients in the blender.
- Blend
- Water - add little by little until preferred consistency is reached.
- Eat - store in airtight container for about 5 days in fridge
Perfect as a snack between meals with some vegetables sticks.
