Hummus

Hummus

Ingredients 

  • 1 x 400 gm tin of chick peas, rinse before use
  • ¼ cup of tahini
  • 2 x cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp of cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • Salt - use sea salt if possible

Method

  • Put all ingredients in the blender.
  • Blend
  • Water - add little by little until preferred consistency is reached.
  •  Eat  - store in airtight container for about 5 days in fridge

Perfect as a snack between meals with some vegetables sticks.
